Ar. Abinaya has an extensive educational background, a bachelor’s degree in architecture, and then a year of experience in teaching, followed by a master's degree in architecture (Energy Efficient and Sustainable Architecture) from India's finest reputed institution (National Institute of Technology) helped her to add new perspectives and ideas to the institution. She was also involved in the Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored project “Community scale energy demand reduction in India”. She has presented the paper titled “OPEN SPACES: CHALLENGES, OPPORTUNITIES AND LIMITATIONS IN INSTITUTIONAL BUILDINGS” at the National Conference On Recent Trends In Architecture & Civil Engineering Towards Energy Efficient And Sustainable Architecture (NCACESD 2019) held in the Department of Architecture, National Institute Of Technology, Trichy.
